So very disappointing and HIGHLY unprofessional. We booked an appointment a month ago to do cake tasting for my wedding that was set for today. The day before the appointment (yesterday) they told us they can’t accommodate the appointment and wanted to just send me with takeout containers of cake rather than an in store experience. Mind you it costs $50 for the experience in the first place, and they wanted to instead send me home with cake like I just ordered takeout from the cheesecake factory. They asked if I can reschedule for Tuesday or Wednesday when I work Monday through Friday and the weekend is my only available time. I canceled entirely because I couldn’t imagine putting faith in this business to be accountable and responsible for my wedding cake on my wedding day when they have just proven to me they’re incapable of keeping a simple tasting appointment that was booked one month in advance. Anyone willing to trust this company for your wedding cake, good luck. They may ask you to reschedule your wedding the day before because they’re not capable of fulfilling your order.

I am not really sure how to say this, but I used to buy cakes from a lady that went by the name Annie Pearls. So when I heard that she had a storefront, I was excited to buy a cake. I’m not sure who baked the cake that I got for Christmas at this Bakery, but we were all so disappointed When we cut into it and had a sliced after Christmas dinner. It was supposed to be a sweet potato poundcake. I did take a picture. The sweet potato portion was a thin layer settled on the bottom, and not swirled properly through the cake. It was barely any sweet potato in there. The cake had areas of dense sections where it’s almost doughy And it wasn’t sweet at all. Underwhelmed is me being generous. For $65 I expect the cake to be good. I can’t recommend and I just don’t understand if you don’t know how to make sweet potato pancake don’t sell it just stick to what you know.

I’ve ordered two cakes from them for different occasions this year. Words can hardly express how satisfied I am with the cakes. She is meticulous in her work. The cakes were identical (if not better) to the inspiration photos I chose. Most times you have to compromise the taste for the design but not here. The cakes are delicious! I will continue to order my cakes from here for any event that requires a cake. I also enjoy that the cakes are VERY reasonably price considering the size, detailed design, and the taste.

I don’t buy cake anywhere else since I have tasted the actual owner’s cake for the first time. Flavor on point ✅never have I ever been disappointed ✅ and she understood the assignments✅. All my kids birthday cake comes from her…. I highly recommend this place ‼️ you don’t have to believe me , go try for yourself. CAKES ETC IS WHERE IT’S AT.
